✨ Frequently Asked Questions

Is this story based on your real life?
Yes. I wrote it after losing my mum — to help myself, and hopefully others, navigate grief with gentleness.

Why did you choose a butterfly?
The butterfly symbolises growth, transformation, and gentle presence. My mummy always said she’d come back as a butterfly — and before she passed, she used to tell me that every butterfly she saw was my big brother. It felt right to carry that symbol into this story.

Is it just for children?
Though it’s written for children, I hope it brings comfort to anyone who’s grieving — no matter their age.

Will there be more books?
Yes — Whisper & Wing Books is only beginning. I hope to create more gentle stories about love, memory, and healing.
